Well this post is pretty self explanitory. I have become addicted to Fluid App and decided that I didn’t like the rest of the icons in there so I made my own. Traditionally I like clean simple icons in my dock. So I made just the mint leaves symbol as the “icon”. No glows, bevels, glares 2.0 style. Just simple vector goodness. If you like it great! If you would like it to be different I will change it to please the masses! Thanks for checking out my freebie #1. I know that my idea was to make this every Thursday from 6-8pm (est) But some rules are ment to be broken. I noticed that DCTH would fall on Christmas and then realized I am going out of town. So, for the next two weeks 12/21 and 12/28 DCTH will be on Monday. I know Monday = Bleh. This is a good thing for Mondays because it will give you something to look forward too! I think this way we can keep consistency before we go back to thursday will be the best plan. Spread the word about the big DCTH change and I hope to see you there. Honestly this week was such a blast I tweeted for about 2 hrs non-stop answering questions and shooting links.

Well for the next few weeks there are holidays and whatever else going on and I decided to just push DCTH to Monday for the next few weeks. This will make it worthwhile for all of us so we can be able to meet. I however am still missing a co-host. If you would like to be a co-host tweet @chadengle or @DCTH if you would like to be a host. First off this was absolutely amazing! I want to thank everyone that came out and participated in this the event was awesome! We had a great turn out for the first #DCTH. @nebrow and myself tweeted for honestly 2 hrs non-stop shooting links and respinding to questions. This is something that the design community needs and we must keep going! I recently set up a twitter profile for @DCTH which I am going to tweet information about the next twitter hours etc. So make sure you are following it for future updates! The next few weeks are going to be a bit rocky being the holidays and all. I am not quite sure when we are going to do them. If you want to check out the the tweets until I figure out a more permenant idea about storing them look here.

I had a huge response on setting up this Design Community Twitter Hours thats I called in re-enforcements. Thats right along with my this week I will be having Niki Brown from the Design O’ Blog. Every week I am going to featuring a new co-host to bring insight and different information to the DCTH.

I just finished up my little convo with @adellecharles @imjustcreative @meroko and a few others on The Cause is the habit. From our conversation I see that there is a few things that apparently the creative community needs. I like to think of myself of a design community innovator and some of that will be revealed later. So what am I doing? I am starting something new. I am setting up a time period where I ( @chadengle )  will be on twitter for design questions. Topics can include: hosting, design, typography, web, encouraging critiquing and topics that will benefit more than one party (but don’t feel oligated to. I am starting the design community twitter hours at 6:00pm-8:00pm on thursdays. I feel this gives me enough time to get home and be able to respond to questions or be near my iPhone to respond. If you would like to join me in being around to ask questions respond to the post and let me know. Again specs are:
